RainCity Blue is more than band made up of incredibly talented, energetic and down-to-earth people, RainCity Blue is AN EXPERIENCE!
If you’re looking for a stand-out performance for ANY event, we can’t recommend Raincity Blue highly enough
Raincity Blue crosses vintage aesthetics with contemporary sounds, blending together powerful vocals, sultry saxophone, and feel-good rhythms. Based in Vancouver BC, the five-piece ensemble showcases a unique experience for listeners - integrating influences from funk, soul, psych-rock, and R&B.
The group has performed at TD’s Vancouver International Jazz Festival and have been featured in the Vancouver 24 hr, The Nanaimo News Bulletin, and on Roundhouse radio and CiTR radio. Other highlights in the last year include performing at Chambar Restaurant’s NYE and a sold out show at the Wise Hall in support of their recent album release. The group looks forward to touring this summer in support of the album including an appearance at Canadian Music Week in Toronto this May.
We re-watch our wedding video, and I tear up every single time by hearing her voice and realizing that Raincity Blue made our day magical.
